Exposure to Risk or Exploitation

We are equipped to care for young people vulnerable to sexual or criminal exploitation, offering protective interventions and multi-agency collaboration to reduce risk and build trust.

At Moriah Care, we recognise the complex and often hidden dangers that vulnerable young people may face. Our staff are trained to identify signs of grooming, coercion, and exploitation early, and act swiftly to intervene and protect those in our care.

Through trauma-informed support and trust-building relationships, we help children reclaim their sense of safety and self-worth. Working closely with social services, safeguarding boards, and law enforcement, we ensure each child receives the protection and advocacy they deserve.

  • Immediate safeguarding responses to suspected or confirmed exploitation
  • Partnerships with police, social workers, and specialist support agencies
  • Therapeutic support to address trauma, shame, and trust issues
  • Education on personal safety, boundaries, and online risks
  • Safe, stable placements that offer long-term recovery and resilience
